Cairo-based legaltech platform, Hekouky, announced that it has secured an undisclosed amount in a pre-seed funding round from Nama Ventures.
Hekouky is responsible for incorporating companies and registering trademarks for entrepreneurs and business owners.
Hekouky makes it easy for business owners to get legal transactions sorted. It helps business owners save cost and time by providing a one-stop-shop and easy-to-use platform that makes the process hassle-free.
Hekouky was founded by, Mayy Abdelbary, Hala Riad and Fatima Khalil. The three co-founders come from different paces and have diverse backgrounds.
Mayy Abdelbary is the former CTO of Paynas, with 9 years of experience in legal software development, decided to take the legal space by storm.
Hala Riad is a lawyer who is experienced in arbitration and corporate law while Fatima Khalil is an accountant and has previously founded three companies.
Passion, dedication and a vision of making the law accessible to all, legal transactions quicker, easier, and traceable for entrepreneurs, is what unites these women.
Hala Riad, Hekouky co-founder, said: “Entrepreneurship is a test of wills and we are on a mission to make it easier by taking the burden of legal transactions off the shoulders of entrepreneurs in Egypt and in the Minna region.”
