iXperience a South African-based edtech startup has recently raised a US$2.5 million Series A funding round for global expansion.
The funding round was led by Kalon Venture Partners and Caleo Private Equity. The startup will deploy the fund for team growth, investment in its platform, expansion to different markets and creating a strategic partnership globally.
The edtech startup founded by Rafi Khan and Aaron Fuchs started operations as a coding boot camp in 2014 and has gone on to become a global career development platform.
iXperience has more than 2,500 alumni and partners to fill the gap that exist between companies that require skills for today’s workforce and traditional education.
The edtech startup deploys its proprietary technology platform to enhance a learning experience that ensures success for students.
Speaking on the secured fund, Aaron Fuchs, Co-founder said:
“The world is changing at an exponential rate and current education systems are not keeping up. We believe that in the next century, learning won’t just be concentrated on youth, but interwoven throughout a person’s life as they transition across careers and life priorities.”
