“When I came to Lagos, I didn’t have anybody, it was just a matter of believe and making God my foundation”, he said.

Braimah tasked the young entrepreneurs to start developing a positive mindset that would define their businesses.

“The way you think will surely define you, if you believe your business will transform you to become a millionaire, it will happen. It’s all about mindset”, Braimah said.

As he narrates his sojourn, he explaines that, what believe and having positive mindset does is to trigger some energy and vibes in your subconscious mind, which will attract you to successfully people.

“Entrepreneurs should understand that being successful is a gradual process and doesn’t happen within a twinkle of an eye”, Braimah adds.

Speaking at the event, Ade Atobatele, Founder and CEO, Gboza Gbosa Technology Limited, tasked all the young entrepreneurs to be determined and strategic in pursuing specific goals in business, agreeing with Braimah that success doesn’t happen over night.

“Running a business requires patience, determination and commitment, however, all these traits trigger the success of your business in a long while,”.

Personally, running a business is not all about learning how to write code, if you write code what next?, that is why it is imperative to continuously pursue knowledge at all times”, he added.

In his closing remarks, Chukwuemeka Fred Agbata Jnr. “CFA”, Convener of the CFA’s Startups Hangout expressed happiness for the successful kick off of the first edition of the event.

“It’s quite encouraging from what we have seen today, however, the thrust behind this initiative is to see startups network effectively, learn and grow in the ever challenging Nigerian economy”, he said.

“In response to questions, he said at the moment, the CFAtech.ng team is pushing the meetup alone, but we hope to get some other partners join us in this laudable initiative designed to develop leaders of tomorrow”, he added.

Registrations for the February edition of CFA’s Startups Hangout is already open and it comes up on the 17th of February, 2017. Interested startups can register on http://startups.cfatech.ng
