AJE, an African blockchain-based startup is set to pioneer a unique utility in the Metaverse space and position Africa as a leading player in this new technological evolution.
Since the announcement made by Mark of Facebook’s rebrand to META, the Metaverse has now become the most searched and talked about technology.
Quoting the project’s White Paper; “Our metaverse will spearhead TIME TRAVEL in the metaverse, delivering a story-driven experience during your trip.
We now have the technology to take you any where and moment in history so Time Travel is no longer something you watch in the movies or a thing of dreams.
Life is all about human experiences and stories, so it would be amazing to be able to immerse yourself into a time in the future or in history, and take in not just the sights and sounds, but also witness remarkable moments as they play out.”
AJE is a Decentralized Binance Smart Chain (BSC) Metaverse that allows users to create, explore and trade in Africa’s first-ever virtual world using NFTs or users’ or holders initiative token.
The Afriverse will bridge the gap between the open-source virtual world and physical and virtual worlds within a decentralized, managing digital value like real estate, digital art as well as advertising space within the Metaverse.
Meme Tokens are cultural currencies that attach transferrable and measurable value to all socio-creative activity. It is a new form of status, interest, participation, and value on a global scale.
The Native Utility Token $AJE will act as a means of access and connective medium to our Metaverse.
Another unique and interesting feature of the project is its community-centered decision-making framework. The Ajeverse will ensure that metaverse is distributed to HOLDERS according to voting rights be as it will have ownership of the marketplace (DAO Governance platform).
After a video of a man being killed by the notorious Special Anti Robbery Squad (SARS) went viral, tens of thousands of young Nigerians took to the streets in different parts of the country to protest against police brutality sparking what became #EndSars demonstrations.
During the course of the movement, accounts involved in raising funds for the protest got blocked by the central bank so activist groups like the Feminist Coalition used crypto donations to raise money for the protests.
CRYPTO empowered millions of people when their governments failed them and that is why the startup has decided that 5% of its Token Total Supply will be committed to a Charity Fund managed by their Community of Holders to help victims and families of victims of the #EndSars Movement.
This fund will also be extended to female victims in major war-torn countries like Sudan, Democratic Republic of Congo, Iraq, Sierra Leone, Bosnia Herzegovina, and Kosovo amongst others.
The 5% Allocation will be released in trenches every month for 36 Months in order to support various communities that fall within the demographic of the beneficiary
