Bantaba is partnering with Founder Institute Ghana (FI Ghana), Africa’s leading pre-seed startup accelerator to boost the access of diaspora resources to tech startups within the continent.

Supporting early-stage African start-ups in solving the continent’s biggest challenges is a mutual goal for Bantaba and FI Ghana.

This is why both companies are becoming strategic partners to expand access to diaspora resources.

As part of the partnership, all startups from the Founder Institute Ghana will have access to all the startup offers on Bantaba’s platform.

They will also be reviewed for potential investment by the growing list of diaspora angel investors on the platform.

According to the Managing Direct of FI Ghana, Simon R Turner the partnership will boost its mission of supporting early-stage companies.

He added, “It will provide a platform for startups to continue getting necessary resources and expand their network after the core FI program.”

Similarly, startups from the Bantaba community will have the opportunity to apply for FI’s core program, which teaches all the necessary aspects needed to reach the milestones for investment and sustained growth.

Bantaba’s CEO, Lamin K. Darboe believes that joining forces with FI is a good way to accelerate the community goal of empowering startups on the continent.

He added that FI’s structured process for startup growth has shown great success and will be of tremendous benefit to early-stage startups within the community.

With an influx of diaspora resources, the growth of startups across Africa will continue to increase. The partnership will spark the inflow of diaspora resources for both startups within FI and Bantaba’s community.

“The diaspora resources through the partnership with Bantaba will act as a catalyst in FI Ghana’s effort to promote startup growth.

We will not only help a business grow but also be able to provide more opportunity for fundraising and the support needed to ensure the continuous growth and scalability”, Simon added.
