The Reckitt Lead2030 SDG6 Challenge 2023 is now accepting applications. Reckitt is happy to have supported the Lead2030 SDG6 competition since 2019, collaborating with three excellent social entrepreneurs who have creative methods to address SDG6.
Reckitt intends to expand on this achievement in 2023 by funding technologies that have a measurable impact by providing access to clean water, sanitation, or hygiene, with a special emphasis on children or women/girls.
While Reckitt is keen on learning about applications that address a wide range of sectors within WASH, there is a significant interest in hearing about innovations that do either of the following:
- Make inventive use of digital technology to reach more people and provide widespread access to water, sanitation, and hygiene.
- Encourage underserved populations to practice good hand hygiene.
Benefits of participation
- The following will be awarded to the winning solution:
- Sponsorship to attend the One Young World Conference in 2023.
- Reckitt grant of $50,000
- A team of Reckitt professionals will mentor you for 12 months. Depending on the needs of your endeavor or organization, the mentorship team will work to speed up your solution.

Eligibility for participation
- The solution must clearly correspond with the SDG6 challenge.
- An individual between the ages of 18 and 30 founded the company.
- A well-structured time range recognized important stakeholders and beneficiaries, and reasonable and well-thought-out outcomes are all required.
- The solution is widely available and is now being piloted, deployed, or scaled.
- Solutions must have a positive social impact, such as providing educational outcomes, job possibilities, or skill development.
- The influence of a solution on society must be adequately measured and/or measurable.
- It must be able to achieve efficiency and self-sufficiency through the resources it generates and/or the investments and donations it attracts.
- The impact has the potential to develop after growing in scope or size and/or into other places.
