In its bid to support the new generation of projects looking to adopt and build on the HUMAN Protocol, the MetaHUMAN Foundation has announced its Human Grants Program.
Successful applicants for the program will have access to an allocated fund of US$10m to create new possibilities for HUMAN technology across new use cases and boost the adoption of the Protocol.
Speaking on the protocol’s abilities, the grant and what it means for the human capital market, Alex Newman, Protocol Designer, said:
“The grants program allows others to carry forward what we’ve started. HUMAN Protocol offers an open-source, broadly applicable solution to representing, verifying, and valuing worker contributions on an automatic basis.
This could be job markets in which organizations request the completion of different jobs, split into the composite tasks; solutions such as Proof of HUMANity that verify human behaviour; or global Q&A systems.”
Criteria for participation
The Human Grant Program is an invitation for independent entrepreneurs, businesses, and developers to submit their applications.
Applicants will be assessed according to:
- The viability of their proposal
- The potential value of their proposal to the HUMAN ecosystem.

About HUMAN Protocol
HUMAN Protocol is an open-source infrastructure that facilitates a new future of work by offering an automated system of exchange.
It is automated by software and runs on blockchain technology while being enforced by smart contracts. This means that any input or interaction on the platform can be tokenized, and its value securely represented.
The different forms of work that is processed by the HUMAN Protocol increases, and the use of its token as a representation of contributions made on its protocol increases with each new application.
Its primary application is the creation and settlement of open job markets. But beyond job markets, the HUMAN Protocol governs, secures, and automates the exchange of contribution and knowledge for value.
It enables parties to interact and trade without trust issues and enables a comprehensive model for crowdsourcing where all contributions are rewarded and both sides are equally served.
