Founded by Niklas Adalberth, also a co-founder of Klarna, a Swedish fintech unicorn in 2016, Norrsken is dedicated to helping entrepreneurs across the globe solve the world’s greatest challenges.

Its ecosystem consists of Norrsken Founders Fund, Norrsken VC and Norrsken House, a co-working space for more than 350 impact entrepreneurs living in Stockholm.

The foundation had begun operations in Kigali, Rwanda, which it planned to use as an investment base across the Central and East African region, and just last year it incorporated 11 startups from Africa into the inaugural edition of its accelerator program (the Norrsken Impact Accelerator).

More than US$17 million in pre-seed or seed funding has been raised by the 20 startups that have participated in the 2021 program.
