Founded by Niklas Adalberth, also a co-founder of Klarna, a Swedish fintech unicorn in 2016, Norrsken is dedicated to helping entrepreneurs across the globe solve the world’s greatest challenges.
Its ecosystem consists of Norrsken Founders Fund, Norrsken VC and Norrsken House, a co-working space for more than 350 impact entrepreneurs living in Stockholm.
The foundation had begun operations in Kigali, Rwanda, which it planned to use as an investment base across the Central and East African region, and just last year it incorporated 11 startups from Africa into the inaugural edition of its accelerator program (the Norrsken Impact Accelerator).

MD and co-founder at Norrsken Impact Accelerator gave an insight on the quality of startups they are looking to scale. She said; “We often ask ourselves if a company is solving a real problem because we’re mostly only interested in business models where impact and profit are truly inseparable, but we are on the look out for startups with the potential to drive lasting positive change to the world while also successfully building a rapidly scalable business.“
