Wennovation hub a Nigerian-based innovation centre calls on startups to apply for the Next Economy Incubation Program 2021.
The aim of the program is to give an opportunity to African startups to learn and grow their business.
Coming at no cost, The Next Economy Incubation Program empowers youth in Nigeria, Mali, Somaliland, Somalia to unleash their talents, while building confidence and honing their skills required for a successful career in a job or as an entrepreneur.
The program ensures the accommodation of diverse and ambitious young people entering the labor market.
“Young people are empowered to transition from education to working life through employment opportunities or entrepreneurial ventures.”, a statement reads on its website
The Next Economy will run programs in Lagos, Abuja, Jos (Nigeria), Bamako (Mali), Hargeisa (Somaliland), Mogadishu (Somalia).
How to apply
Interested startups can apply here. The deadline for application is Sunday, May 23, 2021.
The Next Economy is an initiative of SOS Children’s Villages, Crosswise Works and GoodUp. The program is made possible by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
