Customers have complained about software glitches since the iPhone 14 was released, but an upgrade for the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max is likely to fix the issues that attracted notice earlier this week.
In addition to two issues that have received a lot of attention, the iOS 16.0.2 update fixes issues with touch input not responding on some iPhone X, iPhone XR, and iPhone 11 screens after being maintained.
Some first owners of the iPhone 14 Pro series claimed that the back camera setup on their newly acquired devices is unstable and make loud noises when used in third-party camera apps.
Some users reported that on the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max, it claims that the update addresses a fault that results in in-camera vibration and grainy photographs while shooting with some third-party apps.
Users of Apple’s iPhone 14 Pro models complained on social media about the original issue, which caused their devices’ rear cameras to shake violently and make noises when using third-party apps like Snapchat and Instagram. The built-in camera app on the iPhone 14 Pro seems to operate without any issues.
The second problem was in a newly introduced feature that continually asked users for permission to paste the text into an app, which the majority of the users considered unpleasant.
The security feature’s goal is to warn the user that the content they are trying to paste potentially contains sensitive information. The permission popup would always display when they tried to copy text from another app.
However, iOS 16.0.2 is currently accessible for iPhone 8 and beyond. The roughly 270MB sized upgrade fixes problems with Voice over being inoperable after restarting and touch input on some iPhone models becoming unusable after a service.
Occasionally, while setting up the gadget, the display could seem completely black. The update also includes “important security upgrades” in addition to these glitch patches.
