For today’s Internet, IPv6 conserves everything in a flawless manner so far and adds more, such as seamless mobility, end to end security, an essentially limitless IP address space to link everyone and everything, new optional level of services, automated management of a network and stateless auto-configuration.
IPv6 Forum President, Latif Ladid stated that Nigeria IPv6 Council has been established to offer the Nigerian Internet Community a representation and a strong voice in the new Internet world to prompt a momentum for IPv6 deployment.
On the same note, the Chairman, IPv6 Council Nigeria, Mr. Muhammed Rudman noted that Nigeria IPv6 Council will convey the exact messages to key stakeholders from academic circles, industry and government to plan the IPv6 roadmap together for Nigeria to appreciate the New Internet world based on IPv6.
