As the 2023 edition of Akwa Ibom Tech Week, holding in October ending gears up, a women-focused financial institution, Shecluded, has partnered Ibom Innovation Network, as part of the activities.
A statement released by the media desk of Akwa Ibom Tech Week suggests that Shecluded will provide up to N2 million, (Two Million Naira Only) worth of Startup and/growth loans to women entrepreneurs and their businesses, after undergoing intensive business training.
The statement called for applications from aspiring, or existing female entrepreneur, based in Akwa-Ibom State, Nigeria, who are eager to take their business idea, or existing venture to new heights, so they can have the opportunity to join Shecluded’s ‘Dream to Business’ program and transform their business dreams into reality.
Highlights of the program include knowledge empowerment, where participants will gain the skills and acquire resources to succeed in entrepreneurship.
It also includes mentorship, where women will receive valuable guidance and mentorship from experienced industry professionals.
Participants will also have the opportunity to network and connect with like-minded women entrepreneurs and build a supportive community, and to cap it all, they will access potential funding opportunities to fuel their business growth.
The application deadline is on October 10, 2023
Training mode is virtual – Accessible from the comfort of homes, or workspace.
