In what could be defined as unprecedented and technology breakthrough in Nigeria, AfriFone Limited will today, Friday commission an assembly plant and launch its AfriOne mobile phones and other consumer devices.
This according to the firm will mark the availability of the first Nigerian produced smartphones for sale.
The smartphone market which is Headquartered in Lagos, will serve as a pioneer in the manufacture and assembly of high-end communication technology in the African space.
Meanwhile, the assembly plant is expected to be inaugurated by Governor of Lagos State Akinwunmi Ambode alongside other top officials of the company.
According to Sahir Berry. CEO, AfriOne, the firm champions corporate socio-economic development, while wholly supporting the “Made in Nigeria” mantra.
