Applications are currently open for AUDA-NEPAD Home Grown Solutions Accelerator’s cohort two session.
The program is aimed at offering early stage African focused health companies with support for them to grow.
With financial support from the Japan International Cooperation Agency, in collaboration wih Villgro Africa and Boston Consulting Group, the African Union Development Agency (AUDA-NEPAD) formulated the program owing to th prevalence of the COVID-19 pandemic so as to actualize the capabilities of the local private sector solutions in revatlizing Africa’s reslience to the pandemic.
In 2021, the first cohort was a pilot initiative in East Africa, this year it would be expanding beyond the region. Damu Sasa, Revital Healthcare, MSCAN, Africa Healthcare Network, and Access Afya were all beneficiaries of the maiden edition.
Eligibilty for participation
- Must be for profit at the growth or mature stage
- Tailored to strengthening Africa’s healthcare system
- Product must be a “Home Grown Solution
