Access Bank Plc has recently launched an online payment platform, ‘Swiftpay’, for Micro, Small, and Medium-scale Enterprises (MSMEs) customers.
This payment acceptance service platform allows customers to actively participate online.
Swiftpay can be hosted on MSMEs social media platforms and also on individuals’ websites as the payment service allows them to upload payment link on their platform.
Ms. Ayodele Olojede, Group Head, Emerging Businesses of the bank, while speaking on the launch commented that the bank’s users would gain full access such that it will assist them in selling beyond their stores.
According to her, the bank has established some partnerships with companies that would support their customers in creating online stores for as low as N25,000.
Access bank has also partnered with Google to offer business advisory to at least 10,000 MSMEs that would sign up on the platform so as to help them acquire the skills set to manage their online business.
MSMEs who sign up to the platform will also get the benefit of discounts on courier services.
“At Access Bank, we are committed to providing very practical solutions that support the growth of our customers. We know that stronger participation in markets helps strengthen contribution to economic development.
“We are just all about helping our customers better optimize business solutions,” she said.
MSMEs who signed up will have a verified by Access’ stamp to authenticate the page as this will guarantee their online safety.
On how the online service payment platform will work, the Group Head further noted:
“Just open a business account with Access Bank and you are automatically registered to use Swiftpay very swiftly.
Activate and put the link on your social media page, send it to anyone who wants to pay you, and watch your sales grow. “
