In a move aimed that is geared towards supporting corporate accounts, Africa’s fastest growing digital library, Academix.ng, has launched subscriptions for academic institutions and corporate organisations.
By this development, ACADEMIX which previously supported only single user subscriptions is now able to support organisations requiring multi-user access under a single account.
Speaking on this development in a press statement issued by the company, the Managing Director, Engr. Iso Bassey expressed his delight stating that “Being able to support corporate accounts is something that we aspired to do from our inception.
Arriving here so quickly is a great accomplishment for our team. This gives us the opportunity to meet the specific needs of our bigger clients like universities and companies.”
Speaking specifically about the usefulness of this feature to Nigerian universities, Bassey said “Our corporate subscription model is perfectly suitable for university programmes in need of NUC (National Universities Commission) accreditation.
For a very affordable fee, we can satisfy their requirements for a digital library.”
Through its new offering, www.academix.ng is able to provide users of academic institutions and corporate organisations access to over 30 million learning resources under a single account managed by an administrator.
Users may login simultaneously and use the digital library from any location as long as they have Internet connectivity.
Administrators are provided backend access where they can monitor both real-time and historical usage.
ACADEMIX is a digital library offering access to over 30 million multi-disciplinary learning resources including e-books, audio books, journals, reports and encyclopedic references.
