NiRA does not register domain names directly to the registrant, who are the end users.

Because of the business model and relationship adopted, NiRA holds the quarterly Registrars’ Forum with the aim of physically interacting with the Registrars.

This helps to foster closer working relationship and provides opportunities for both NiRA and its Accredited Registrars to understand the business thrust.

Both NiRA and the Accredited Registrars communicate their challenges of activities, discuss and proffer solutions. Of course, several online discussions are conducted on the domain name industry and the trends in the domain name business.

NiRA continues to accredit new Registrars as the applications are being received and evaluated.

The process of becoming a NiRA accredited registrar can be found on NiRA website
